Yesterday was Jared's 31st birthday! I decided to be adventerous and bake an apple pie for him..(he loves apple pies)! My first pie ever! I kept it simple and used pre-made pie crust. I want to master the inside and then move on to the crust.. So, Jack and I let Jared sleep in and we worked on the pie. Latter that day, Jared's cousin Caroline came and watched Jack so that we could go see a movie. The first time we've been out in 3 months! It was really fun, Jared and I LOVE going to the movies so this was a real treat for the both of us! It was a little hard to leave Jack because this was the first time we have left him since he was a baby and we had no idea how he would react. He did great though! Thanks Caroline! The movie we saw was sooo good too! Dan In Real Life... one of the best movies we've seen in a long time!

I'm so glad you guys were able to have a fun date together! Lindsay watched Robby last night so we could go to the football game - so nice!
