Last week we went to Discovery Kingdom (we went here last summer as well). This time it was just my sister Jackie, her kids, and my mom. I was a little nervous to go with a newborn especially without Jared but Kate did great. She had a few fussy moments but for the most part she slept. Jack had fun running around with Tucker and Taylor, seeing all the animals, and riding on a few rides. It's a fun park to go to because there's a variety of things to do and it's great for kids... even kids as young as Jack.

The gang riding in the Thomas train... things were great up until this point when Jack saw the Thomas store. It's a parent trap. You can't get off the train without going through the store. Once inside I couldn't get Jack to leave. All he wanted to do was play with the train track and it took me dragging him out crying to leave (in his defence it was nap time). Why do people do such cruel things to parents?

What stroller did you get? It looks like a good one. Kate is so cute sleeping next to her big brother. I'm excited to meet her!
Wish I could have gone too. That really is so cruel how they strategically place those stores so that you HAVE to go in. But you wouldn't have the next blog if it weren't for that store I guess, right?
