This past weekend we were SO lucky to be invited to join Jared's cousin Caroline, Jason, and sweet Annie at Jason's families cabin in Tahoe. They go every year around this time and we've been invited for several years now but have not been able to make it until now!! Caroline and Jason live in Utah so we don't get to see them as much as we'd like. We love them and we always have fun when we see them. Jack LOVED the snow!! Although we lived in Utah the first year of his life, he was never out in the snow so this was really his first experience and he couldn't get enough. It was really cold so we'd have to bundle him up every time we went outside, and it took some time to get the pants, boots, gloves, hat on. He loved
to just crawl and roll around in the snow, literally.... he would roll around. Crazy kid. He took his first bus ride ( we rode the bus to and from the Northstar resort). According to Jack "it was a little bus, not a big bus". Caroline, Jack and I went ice skating, or rather tried. After Jack tried skating he decided crawling around the rink, pushing the snow off the sides was much more fun. It cracked me up. Kate was a trooper too! She went sledding, and didn't fuss much even though her feet were FREEZING which I discovered after we got home one evening. Poor girl. Thanks Caroline and Jason for letting us hang out with you, and thanks for helping us create fun memories for our kids!! We love you!!

Oh so fun! Gotta love that Tahoe! And hey, did I ever write you back about running Tahoe? Tell me if I didn't and I'll email you. I thought I did but I had this sudden burst of, "oh crap! I didn't write back yet!"

Looks Like a FUN time! I have to say that Jack crawling around on his knees with his hands on that siding looks like what Wyatt would be doing with a train. Maybe Jack was pretending he had a train. He loves them too right?
I love Kate's hat! and that one "ear" is flopped over in most of the pictures! It made me laugh! So cute!

We were SO happy that you guys could come!! I loved seeing your kids! Jack is a crack up as always and Kate is so sweet. I am interested to see how her personality develops. oh and We should make it a new tradition!!!
