For those who may be interested, Jared and I went to see the movie, "The Kite Runner" today. As in most cases, I didn't think the movie was as good as the book. I guess it's not fair to compare the two since I'm sure it's hard to fit 400 pages of thoughts and dialogue into a 2 hour movie. I think what would have made it better for me is if they had had the main character narrate throughout the movie. I wanted to know his thoughts like I could when I read the book. On the other hand, Jared (who was untainted) thought it was a good movie. Sad, but good.
