I was watching American Idol tonight and saw someone I know audition!! His name is JB Afuha and I met him while I was in Jenny Phillips' Choir over 2 years ago (he was 14 at the time). We all thought that he had an AMAZING voice and that when he was old enough he should audition for Idol! He made it through the first round tonight and I am SO excited for him! Congratulations JB I know you'll go far!!

That is so exciting! There is nothing quite like knowing a "celebrity" no matter how short lived their fame. I haven't watched AI yet, but it's at home on DVR!
WHOA~ That is exciting! We haven't seen it yet but I'm excited. I've got to admit to being slightly "over" American Idol. Does that make me un-American? I don't know... maybe this year and following your friend will renew my interest.

He really does have an amazing voice! He is Sirena's Nephew and her daugher Jayde's first cousin, we are VERY excited for him! That is cool that you know him! It is a small world!
